Sliding scale
I believe that everyone who would like a doula should have access to one - regardless of financial barriers. My fees are offered on a sliding scale that takes your family's financial resources into account. With that said - I must also make sure that my own financial needs are met. In order to meet the needs of myself and my clients, I offer a range of pricing. I trust you and your family to self determine your financial experience and will never ask you to provide proof. Labor support
$700 - $1500 sliding scale
$1100 “true cost”
I am available to support you through your labor. Whether you are birthing at home, a birth center or a hospital, you deserve to feel heard and held through the full birthing process. During labor my main focus is supporting the birthing person through hands on pain management, emotional support, and advocacy. I also strive to help partners and any family or friends that are present to feel calm and confident in being an active part of the process.
Prenatal/postpartum visits
$15 - $35/hour sliding scale
$25/hour “true cost”
These visits can be tailored to whatever you feel needs the most attention at the time. Some examples can include working through a birth plan, support with infant care/care for older siblings, light housekeeping, birth story processing, etc. I generally start these visits with the question, "How are you doing?" and take things from there. My goal is that you feel confident and relaxed after our visits!
Labor & Visit Package
If you are interested in working together for the duration of your pregnancy, labor and into postpartum and would prefer to do a package pricing - that is an option. During a consultation we can discuss how much support you are seeking and create an inclusive price that meets your needs.
Medicaid Services
Michigan Medicaid was approved to cover doula services in 2023! If you have Medicaid, you are eligible for continuous labor support and 12 doula visits per pregnancy through your insurance. The visits can be used anytime from conception up to baby’s first birthday. I am currently an in network provider with Priority Health, United Healthcare, BlueCross Complete and Molina. I am able to provide out of network services with Meridian.
